Directions

  1. Cook rice, onion and green pepper in heated butter over medium heat in a large frying pan, stirring till onion is soft and lightly browned. Fold in garlic and curry pwdr. Cook, stirring for 30 seconds. Then fold in salt, broth, and water.
  2. Transfer rice mix to a greased shallow 2 to 2 1/2 qt casserole. Cover, bake at 400 degrees till rice is nearly tender.
  3. Meanwhile cut several shallow slashes along one side of each sausage. Mix peas into rice mix. Arrange sausages atop rice. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees till sausages are heated through and lightly browned, 10-12 min.
