Directions

  1. Place water, sugar, salt, bread flour and yeast into baking pan. Sprinkle yeast over dry ingredients. Insert baking pan securely into unit; close lid. Select "French Bread" setting; then press "Start". The complete light will flash when bread is finished. Use hotpads to remove pan from unit; pull out kneading rod. Invert container to remove loaf. Place bread on cooling rack. Allow to cold before slicing.
  2. Makes 1 loaf.

    This is NOT French bread. True French bread can have only four ingredients (by law, in France): flour, yeast, salt, and water.
