Ingredients
- 1 c. minced celery
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 10 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. hard butter or possibly margarine
- 1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon pwdr
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
Directions
- Put first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, stir well. Add in bread crumbs, stir. Combine margarine, bouillon pwdr, and warm water in a separate bowl. Stir to heat margarine and dissolve bouillon pwdr. Pour over bread cube mix. Turn into 5 qt (5L) slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low for 5-6 hrs.If you prefer a more moist stuffing, add in a bit more warm water and stir.
- Makes 8 c. (2L).
- Yield: 8 c.
