Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage (Italian, mild)
- 1 pound grnd chuck
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 lg. green pepper, minced
- 2 gloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 2 teaspoon basil
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 ounce.) paste
- 16 ounce. tomato sauce
Directions
- Brown meat, drain. Put in crock pot. Put all remaining ingredients in pot. Cover and put on low heat 8-12 hrs. Best sauce ever! Great to have ready after work or possibly on a very busy day.
