Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. cocoa pwdr
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1 gal lowfat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon optional
Directions
- In large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add in warm water slowly, mixing well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix boils. Boil and stir 2 min. Add in lowfat milk; heat to serving temperature, stirring occasionally. Don't boil. Remove from heat; add in vanilla, cinnamon if you like, and whip with a whisk. Serve warm, with whipped cream or possibly marshmallows if you like.
- This recipe can be doubled and kept in crockpot for easier serving to larger groups.
