Ingredients

  • 1 pound dry navy beans (soak overnight)
  • 2 quart. water
  • 1 pound ham and bones
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced celery leaves
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 bay leaf (optional)

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in pot. Cook on low 10 to 12 hrs.
