Ingredients
- 2 lb dry navy beans
- 1 sm onion minced
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp mustard
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 8 slc bacon - (to 10 slices) fried crisp
Directions
- Put beans in three times the volume of unsalted water, bring to a boil and let simmer for 30 min. Let stand in covered warm water for 2 hrs.
- Mix other ingredients in bowl. Drain beans well and mix all ingredients and beans together. Put in crock pot and let cook on LOW for 12 hrs. Stir occasionally.
