Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 T softened butter
  • 1-2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 T melted butter
  • 1-2 teaspoon warm water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. In small bowl put together first 3 ingredients. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.Spread 2 rectangles with butter-sugar mix; lightly press together. Cut each rectangle crosswise into 8 strips. Twist each strip tightly several times; seal ends.
  2. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10-15 min till golden. Spread glaze on warm twists - NOT HOT!
  3. Mix together and spread on warm twists.
