This one pot wonder is on my table at least once a week! I normally use applewood smoked bacon in this recipe, because the smoke flavor seems to bring out the Creole spices. I always use my slow cooker for this dish, but this can be baked in the oven as well!
Ingredients
- 4 -5 pork chops
- 4-5 long slices of bacon
- 1 block of cream cheese (softened)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tbls. Creole seasonings
- 1 cup shredded cheese blend (I use monterey jack and colby)
Directions
- []
- Wrap a slice of bacon around each pork chop and place in slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredience and pour over pork chops.
- Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
