Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Onions, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. Defatted chicken stock
  • 2 c. Pureed fresh tomatoes, or possibly, canned unsalted tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Sweet basil
  • 1 med Garlic clove, pressed, or possibly, 1 Tbs garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Coarsely grnd pepper
  • 1 x 10.5 oz package Mori-Nu Silken Tofu (Soft) Liquid removed, Optional
  • 1 pch of salt Add in butter or possibly margarine if you like

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, saute/fry onions in chicken stock till transparent. Add in pureed tomatoes along with next three ingredients. Simmer for 10 to 15 min.
  2. In a blender or possibly a food processor,process tofu till smooth and stir into the tomato mix. Simmer and serve warm.
  3. Makes 3 servings of 8 ounce. each.
  4. Optional ingredients not included in calibrations.
