Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. cooked Texmati Brown Rice
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 3/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 c. half-and-half
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. diced cooked chicken
- 2 c. frzn minced broccoli thawed
- 1/2 tsp dry rosemary
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
Directions
- Saute/fry mushrooms in butter till tender; add in flour and stir till smooth. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly.
- Gradually add in half-and-half and chicken broth; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till thick and bubbly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 10 min, stirring occasionally.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
