Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. Bisquick
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. cut up cooked chicken or possibly turkey
  • Waffles
  • 2 c. Bisquick
  • 2 T oil
  • 1 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Heat butter over low heat in saucepan. Blend in Bisquick and seasonings. Cook over low heat, stirring till mix is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in lowfat milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in chicken. Prepare waffles. Serve hot creamed chicken between each two waffle sections. Serves 6.
  2. Beat all ingredients with mixer till smooth. Pour batter from cup or possibly pitcher into center of hot waffle iron. Bake till steaming stops. Lift off waffle carefully with fork. Makes 3 - 9 inch waffles.
