Cranberry Apple Relish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can (12-ounce) frzn apple-juice concentrate, thawed
  • 2 x 3-inch-long sticks cinnamon
  • 1 pkt (12-ounce) fresh cranberries, picked over
  • 1 1/2 lb (4 medium-size) Golden brown Delicious apples, peeled, halved, cored, and sliced

Directions

  1. 1. In 3-qt saucepan, heat undiluted apple-juice concentrate and cinnamon to boiling over high heat. Add in cranberries and cook till most of the berries pop.
  2. 2. Stir apples into cranberry mix and return to boiling. Remove from heat; remove and throw away cinnamon sticks. Cold relish to room temperature; transfer to jar or possibly container; cover and chill till cool. Just before serving, transfer relish to serving dish.
