- 1 c. Cranberries
- 3 Tbsp. Tapioca
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- Â Â Topping Mix
- 3/4 c. flour

- 1 tsp Calumet baking pwdr
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 c. (1/4 stick) butter or possibly margarine

Directions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix apples, 1 1/4 c. sugar, cranberries, tapioca, cinnamon and water in large saucepan. Let stand 5 min.
- Stirring constantly, cook on medium heat till mix comes to full boil. Pour into 2-qt baking dish. Dot with 2 Tbsp. butter.
- Mix flour, 2 tables sugar, baking pwdr and salt in large bowl. Cut in 1/4 c. butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.. Stir in lowfat milk till soft dough forms. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto warm apple mix. ( I like to leave the lowfat milk out of the mix and pour the dry mix proportionately over the top.) Bake 30 min or possibly till topping is golden. Serve hot with whipped topping, if you like.
