Ingredients
- 1 pound crabmeat (your choice, lump is better)
- 2 (8 ounce) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
- 2 T mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr or possibly garlic salt
- 1 pkg. Cheddar cheese (2 c.)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together except Cheddar cheese and put in baking dish, then sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. (It is good on vegetable crackers, chips, etc.) You will not leave a drop.Variations: can put in 1 teaspoon horseradish and 1/2 tsp MSG; or possibly add in 1 to 3 tbsp lowfat milk, 3 tbsp dry onions and sprinkle with paprika; or possibly add in 1 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 tsp dry mustard.
