Ingredients
- 4 x Crab, Hard-Shell
- 1 lb Shrimp, cooked
- 1/2 lb Ham, raw
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 3 slc Bacon
- 6 ounce Tomato paste -or possibly-
- 14 ounce Canned Tomatoes
- 4 x Scallions
- 1 sm Garlic Clove, minced fine
- 1Â 1/2 quart Boiling Water
- 1 lb Okra, cut small
- Â Â Salt, to taste
- Â Â Pepper, to taste
- Â Â Cooked Rice *
Directions
- Clean the crabs, remove all meat from claws and body, and cut into pcs; each crab will make 4 to 6 pcs. Shell the shrimp. Cut ham and bacon into small pcs. Mix the flour and oil in a pot. When brown add in bacon and ham.
- Cook for a few min, and add in crab and shrimp. Let this mix cook till it becomes a good brown. Add in onion and garlic to crab and shrimp.
- Pour in water slowly, then add in okra, seasonings and tomato paste. Cook slowly, stirring frequently, about 1 hour, or possibly till it begins to thicken. A lid should be kept on the pot. Serve warm with dry, cooked rice. If it gets too thick, more water can be added.
