Ingredients

  • 1 pkt (5/16-ounce) yeast
  • 1 c. Unbleached flour
  • 3/4 c. Bread flour
  • 1/2 c. White or possibly yellow cornmeal
  • 4 Tbsp. Fresh, minced herbs*
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 7/8 c. Water

Directions

  1. Chives, cilentro, Italian parsley, or possibly basil, Or possibly 4 tsp. dry herbs.
  2. SERVE Hot WITH SWEET BUTTERPut all ingredients, in the order given, into the bread machine, select WHITE bread, and push Start.
  3. NOTE: You'll like the crunchy textureof the corn meal in the top crust. The herbs create a wonderful fragrance while it's baking and a spectacular taste once it's done. Serve hot with sweet butter.
