Ingredients

  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • In a large pot over very low heat sautee the garlic in the oil just long enough for the oil to get flavor 2-3 minutes, don't brown the garlic.
  • Pour in the tomatoes and stir, add 1/2 can water
  • add basil leaves
