  1. For cake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bottom only of 9-by- 13 inch pan. Blend till moistened all cake ingredients except flour. Beat 2 min at medium speed.
  2. Add in flour, blend till moistened. Beat 2 min at medium speed.
  3. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 25 to 35 min or possibly till golden. Cold completely, cover. Freeze 30 to 60 min for easy cutting. Using deep cookie cutters or possibly knife, cut into desired shapes.
  4. For icing, combine all icing ingredients except food coloring, if using.
  5. Blend on low till moistened, high till smooth.
  6. Add in water a drop at a time for thinner icing. If you like, tint portions of icing with different food coloring.
  7. Place cake pcs on wire racks over cookie sheets. Spoon icing proportionately over tops and sides of cake pcs. Icing which drips off may be reused.
