Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Beat egg whites till foamy, add in salt and cream of tartar. Beat till soft peaks form.
  2. 2. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time, beating till stiff and glossy.
  3. 3. Mix in extracts and coconut.
  4. 4. Drop from tsp. onto aluminum foil covered cookie sheet. Put a cherry in the center of each macaroon.
  5. 5. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven for about 20 min.
  6. Makes about 30 macaroons
