Ingredients
- 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 1 sm. onion, grated
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 (6 ounce) glass grape jelly
Directions
- Thoroughly mix grnd beef, onion, garlic, corn flakes and large eggs; season to taste. Shape into walnut size balls. Put together remaining ingredients in a heavy frying pan; simmer 5 min. Place meat balls in the sauce; cook slowly 1 hour. Cool. Chill till fat hardens; skim off and throw away fat. Pour into containers and freeze. Reheat to serve.Makes 65 servings.
