Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine 1/2 c. sugar and water in 2-qt heat-proof mold. Bring to boil.
  2. Boil till syrup turns golden. Swirl pan to coat sides with syrup.
  3. Beat Large eggs and add in remaining 1/2 c. sugar. Gradually add in warm lowfat milk and whipping cream. Stir in vanilla and rum, blending well. Strain and pour into caramelized mold. Place mold in large baking pan. Fill halfway up sides of mold with water. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 40 min. Allow to cold.
  4. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
