As many of us gear up for a fresh start in 2014, our thoughts are turning to ways in which we can also refresh our eating plans to avoid boredom.

I don’t know about you, but boredom is a surefire way for me to get off track. Even after 4 years of clean eating, if I get bored with my food, my thoughts instantly turn to what I can get at a restaurant or in a box at the store. I have a feeling I’ll probably be fighting that instinct for a long time. Old habits die hard!

But I also find that if I keep my “snacks” somewhat varied, then I don’t focus so much on the fact that I’m having chicken for dinner…..again. (Although I try to keep that varied as well.)

This recipe comes from eMeals (affiliate link). They have awesome clean eating and paleo meal plans. This particular recipe is from their paleo plan, which is what my own eMeals subscription is for. (Yes, eating paleo is eating clean. Promise!) While I don’t follow their meal plans exclusively (I still have to create my own recipes!), I do use their recipes to pull me out of a rut. And I have to say, I haven’t been disappointed yet!
