Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped white onions
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. healthy oil (I used olive. I know you’re not supposed to heat it, but it’s all I had)
  • 1/4 lb. bacon slices, cut into small bits
  • 1 1/2 lb. brussels sprouts, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil (additional)
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar (optional)
