Directions

  1. Soften yeast in warm water. Add in evaporated lowfat milk, salt, 1/3 cup sugar, egg and 1 cup flour. Beat well. Add in melted butter. Place remaining flour into large bowl. Cut in butter. Mix in yeast batter till flour is moistened. Cover and chill 4 hrs. Remove dough from bowl to lightly floured surface. Cut in half. Dust with flour and roll into 18 inch square.Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/2 over dough. Roll up. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place side by side into 8 inch tube pan. Repeat with other half of dough. Cover with plastic wrap. Place in warm place till double. Brush with egg, water mix. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. Glaze if you like.
