Ingredients

  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 c. hot lowfat milk, scalded and skimmed
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Large eggs

Directions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in hot lowfat milk. Combine sugar, butter, Large eggs and salt. Stir in flour. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead till smooth. Place in a lightly greased bowl and turn once to grease top. Cover, let rise in a hot place free from draft about one hour or possibly till dough has nearly doubled in size.
  2. Punch down, and roll the dough on a clean surface lightly dusted with flour. Roll f out to a rectangle shape till it is approximately 21 inches long and 16 inches wide by 1/4" thick. If dough begins to resist stop working and allow to rest for 10 min.
