Ingredients
- 3 c. brown sugar
- 6 x Large eggs
- 6 c. rolled oats, Old Fashioned
- 6 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. nut meat
- 3 c. raisins
- 1Â 1/2 c. cannied mix fruit
- 1Â 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1Â 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Beat Large eggs till light add in sugar and beat, add in shortening and beat into first mix. Add in flour, cinnomon, salt and vanilla. Add in and mix well.
- Add in raisins.
- Dissolve soda in lowfat milk. Stir quickly into mix. Add in rolled oats, nuts and fruit and mix well.
- Drop from tsp. on greased cookie sheet. top with red and green cherries, nuts and dates.
- Bake for 15 min at 375 degrees.
