- Heat butter. Cool slightly. Sift in dry ingredients. Add in large eggs and mix. Add in vanilla. Preheat waffle iron to medium heat.Put 1 tbsp batter on a small section of the waffle iron. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 min. Spread with a vanilla icing.
