Directions

  1. Squares: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place butter, sugar and egg in bowl of food processor. Mix till smooth. Heat chocolate in bowl over simmering water or possibly in microwave. Mix together flour and baking soda.
  2. Add in 1/2 to food processor. Pour buttermilk in processor. Mix. Add in remaining flour. Process till well mixed. Add in vanilla and almond extracts and melted chocolate. Pulse to mix. Pour batter in buttered 7 x 9 pan. Bake 9-10 min till sides pull away from pan. Don't overcook!
  3. Sauce: While squares are baking, heat white chocolate in bowl over warm water or possibly in microwave. Stir in cream. To serve: Cut cake into squares and pour sauce over top.
  4. Approximately 12-15 min.
