Ingredients
- 1 pkt powdered sugar (1-lb.)
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine don't use diet-style margarine
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions
- Cook's notes: To prepare fudge on stove top, combine ingredients as directed in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring till butter has melted and mix is smooth. Remove from heat and add in vanilla. Spread into prepared pan, cover and chill till hard.
- If you like, add in 1 c. of mini-marshmallows or possibly nuts at the end of Step 1.
- Preliminaries: Butter or possibly coat with nonstick spray an 8-inch-square pan.
- 1. In microwave-safe bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, lowfat milk and butter. Microwave on high power till butter melts, about 3-4 min; stir till smooth. Add in vanilla and stir to combine.
- 2. Spread in prepared pan, cover and chill till hard sufficient to cut into squares.
- Yield: About 16 squares
