  • 1 pkg. devils food cake mix
  • 1/2 gal. lime sherbet
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon light corn syrup
  • Mint flavoring to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare cake mix. Bake in two 8 inch round pans. When cool, cut each layer horizontally in half. Layer cake and lime sherbet ice cream ending with cake. Freeze till hard.
  2. Heat chocolate chips, butter, lowfat milk and corn syrup. Add in mint flavoring. Spread on cake. Freeze till hard. Wrap securely. Let sit at room temperature a couple min before, trying to cut.
