Chocolate Heart With Bitter Orange Marmalade

Ingredients

  • 1 packet butter cookies (“palets au beurre”)
  • 8 ounce (250 g) bitter orange marmalade
  • 5½ ounce (150 g) dark chocolate
  • ¼ c. (60 g) butter
  • 2/3 c. (15 cl) whole lowfat milk

Directions

  1. Cut the chocolate into small pcs
  2. Crush the cookies and place them in the bottom of some heart-shaped molds (or possibly an ordinary mold)
  3. Spread a thin layer of orange marmalade on top
  4. Put them in the refrigerator
  5. Bring the lowfat milk to the boil, add in the pcs of chocolate and stir till the chocolate has melted. Stir in the butter
  6. Mix all of the ingredients together well
  7. Remove the molds from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate cream on top of the cookies
  8. Leave to set for 2 hrs in the refrigerator.
