  1. Heat chocolate and butter in heavy saucepan. Add in half and half and sugar. Mix well. Cook fast till it comes to a boil, then turn down the heat. Bring to a soft ball ( use a candy thermometer). Cold slightly and add in vanilla. Beat with a mixer a till it reaches spreading consistency.
