Ingredients
- For the Biscotti:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 medium overripe banana, mashed well (about ½ cup)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the Egg Wash & Topping:
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- For the Chocolate Coating:
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
