Ingredients
- 3 1/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 (6 serving) pkg. Jello butter pecan, chocolate, chocolate fudge or possibly vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 Large eggs
- 3 c. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. minced nuts (optional)
Directions
- Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, pudding mix and vanilla in a large mixer bowl; beat till smooth and creamy. Beat in Large eggs. Gradually add in flour mix; then stir in chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff.) Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min. Makes about 10 dozen.
- Smaller cookies cook better without burning.
