Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 c. buttery Crisco (or possibly reg. Crisco) 3/4 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 Large eggs 1 1/2 c. sifted flour

1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 c. Quaker oats (either kind) 2 c. chocolate chips Optional: Add in 1 c. raisins

Directions

1. Beat Crisco, sugars and vanilla together till creamy. Beat in egg. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add in to creamed mix; mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 min. Makes about 6 dozen.
