Ingredients
- Â Â Cookie mix
- 9 c. Flour
- 4 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp Salt
- 3 c. Packed brown sugar
- 3 c. Sugar
- 4 c. Shortening
- Â Â Cookies
- 7 c. Cookie mix
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 x Large eggs beaten
- 12 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- MIX: Thoroughly combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening till crumbly. Store in an airtight container in a cold dry place up to 6 months. TO MAKE COOKIES: Combine mix, vanilla and Large eggs; mix well.
- Foldin chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 1/2" apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 10-12 min or possibly till golden.
- Remove from pans to cold on wire racks.
- Yield: 2 dozen per batch
