Directions

  1. Heat chocolate chips, salt, lowfat milk and 1 tbsp butter in double boiler. Add in minced nuts and vanilla. Let set.Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add in large eggs and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Add in rolled oats. Press 2/3 of batter in greased cake pan. Spread chocolate filling over. Crumble rest of batter over top. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup very fine nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min or possibly light brown. Let cool. Cut. Enjoy.
