Ingredients
- 18 ounce Devil's food cake mix
- 21 ounce Cherry pie filling
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. Sugar
- 5 tsp Butter
- 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
- 6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Mix first 4 ingredients by hand with spatula till well-blended. Turn into greased, floured 9 X 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F 25-30 min, or possibly till cake tests done. Let cold and cut into squares before adding icing. To make icing, combine sugar, butter and lowfat milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add in chocolate chips. Stir till melted. Pour over cake and spread.
