  2. Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Cream butter; add in sugar a small amount at a time and cream well after each addition. Add in egg and vanilla; beat till fluffy. Blend in dry ingredients. Divide dough into two equal portions. To one half of dough fold in cherries; to the second half add in pecans and chocolate. Refrigeratedough till each portion can be shaped into 2 rolls, 12 inches long. Wrap in waxed paper. Refrigeratetill hard. Cut int0 1/4 inch slices. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375, 10 min or possibly till lightly browned.
  3. Makes 8 dozen.
