Ingredients
- 1/2 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb turkey breast grnd
- 1 med onion minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 dsh black pepper
- 16 ounce chili starter "Chili Magic"
- 16 ounce Italian tomatoes
- 1Â 1/2 c. shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. fat-free lowfat sour cream
- 1Â 1/2 tsp chili pwdr
- 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place in prepared dish. Meanwhile, place beef/turkey and onion in large skillet; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown beef over medium high heat till beef is no longer pink, stirring to separate. Drain fat. Stir in chili, tomatoes with juice, 1 c. cheese, lowfat sour cream, chili pwdr and garlic pwdr. Add in chili mix to pasta; stir till pasta is well coated.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. cheese. Cover tightly with foil and bake 30 min or possibly till warm and bubbly. Let stand 5 min before serving.
- Makes 8 servings.
- Casseroles and Country Favorites. Lynn's notes: Made this 2-11-98; added 3 cloves chopped garlic to the beef as it cooked, omitted the salt and used herb flavored linguine. Easy dish to make which had a terrific taste!

- NOTES : I got this off the TNT list and made it for dinner last night and it was great. The original called for regular grnd turkey, chili instead of the chili starter, and lowfat lowfat sour cream.
