Ingredients
- 30 med Tomatoes (24 c.)
- 8 med Onions
- 12 x Celery stalks, finely diced
- 1/2 c. Pickling salt
- 1 x Green bell pepper, finely diced
- 5 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 x Green bell pepper, finely diced
- 2 Tbsp. Mustard seeds
- 1 pch Dry red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Cloves
- 2 c. White vinegar
Directions
- Peel and seed tomatoes. In large bowl combine tomatoes, onions, celery and peppers. Stir in pickling salt and let stand over night. Drain well. In large pot combine tomato mix with remaining ingredients. Boil over high heat 15 minutes. stirring constantly. Ladle into sterile jars. Seal, label and store in a cold dry, dark place.
