Chili Crusted Sea Bass Recipe

  • 4 x boneless skinless sea bass fillets - (8 ounce ea)
  • 1 c. Asian panko crumb or possibly flake
  • 1/4 c. blackened fish seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brush both sides of fish with melted butter and place in a shallow baking dish. Arrange so which fillets are not touching.
  2. In a mixing bowl place blackening seasoning, crumbs, and melted butter. Mix well to proportionately distribute butter. Spread crust proportionately over the tops of the fillets and press lightly.
  3. Place just sufficient water in the pan to cover the bottom, don't place too much so which the topping on the fish is affected. Bake for 8 to 10 min or possibly till fish is no longer transparent.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  5. Suggested Wine: Beverage suggestions: Napa Valley Merlot, or possibly for a white choose Napa Valley Gravion.
  6. NOTES : Chef's Tip - Instead of blackened fish seasoning you can try substituting a chili seasoning mix.
