Childrens Kiddie Oven Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 x teas. baking soda
  • 1/2 x teas. salt
  • 1/3 c. vegetable shortening

Directions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients. Stir till blended.
  2. Cut in the shortening. (Mix will look like cornmeal.)
  3. Package in 1/3 c. portions. Keeps up to 12 weeks.
  4. Use 1/3 c. of mix plus 4 Tbsp. water. Follow oven directions.
