Ingredients
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 c. shredded cooked chicken
- 8 ounce. salsa
- 1 env. (1 1/4 ounce.) taco seasoning mix
- 12 taco shells
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Grated cheddar cheese
- Additional salsa to top tacos
Directions
- Saute/fry onion in butter in medium skillet till translucent/soft. Stir in chicken, salsa, and seasoning mix. Simmer, uncovered, over low heat for 15 min.
- Meanwhile, heat taco shells. Spoon chicken mix into taco shells. Add in lettuce, tomato and grated cheese. Top with salsa.
