Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 c. diced onion
- 1/4 c. diced green bell pepper
- 1 lb grnd chicken or possibly turkey
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar - (packed)
- 1 tsp grnd mustard
- 1 tsp chili pwdr
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 can tomato sauce - (8 ounce)
- 8 x kaiser rolls
Directions
- Heat water in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook onion and bell pepper in water 2 min or possibly till crisp-tender. Stir in chicken. Cook 4 to 5 min, stirring occasionally, till no longer pink.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except rolls; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally. Fill rolls with chicken mix.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
