Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. rice (raw)
  • 1 can cream of chicken or possibly mushroom soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients and let stand at least 1/2 hour. Transfer mix to pan big sufficient to hold the amount of meat you are using. Put chicken or possibly pork chops on top of mix - brush with melted butter - salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. If rice gets dry before done, add in a little water.
