Directions

  1. Simmer chicken in salted water in covered saucepan till tender. (A frying chicken will take about 45 min.) Remove chicken from broth; cold. Remove skin and bones; chop meat. Skim fat from broth measure broth. Add in water to make 5 c., bring to boil. Add in chicken, vegetables and poultry seasoning. Simmer covered 20 min. Add in parsley and noodles; simmer uncovered 10 min or possibly till noodles are tender. Makes 6 servings.
