Ingredients

  • 1 lg. chicken, stewed
  • Broth from chicken
  • 8 ounce. egg noodles
  • 1 pkg. dry cheese sauce
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 lg. onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 lg. bell pepper, diced
  • 16 ounce. pkg. frzn stir fry vegetables
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic (optional), chopped

Directions

  1. After stewing chicken remove from bones and dice. Strain broth. Add in water to make 6 c.. Bring to boil and add in noodles. Cook till tender. Add in soup, water chestnuts, salt, pepper and cheese sauce; mix well.
  2. In fry pan saute/fry onion and bell pepper with oil till tender. Add in to noodles and chicken. Add in 2 more Tbsp. oil to pan along with chopped garlic. Then add in frzn vegetables, cook till tender crisp. Add in to other mix. Heat in oven till hot or possibly microwave.
