Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1/4 c. Onion, chpd
- 1/4 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 can Evaporated lowfat milk, lg
- 1 pkt Froz broccoli spears, cooked
- 1 x Chicken, cooked, cubed
- 1 c. Cheese, shredded
Directions
- Saute/fry onion in margarine; stir in flour, salt and pepper. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid; add in water to make 1/2 c. liquid. Gradually stir into flour mix in skillet. Blend in lowfat milk till smooth. Add in mushrooms. Cook and stir over medium heat till sauce begins to thicken. Arrange a layer of chicken with the broccoli spears on top in a 9x13 baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken and broccoli. Top with cheese. Bake 375 for 20 minutes. Let sit 15 minutes before serving.
